You don't even pronounce it right it's wah hin
Tracy and Ray spends on average $2,200 a month living in a nice place like that? I retired early, left my W2 job last year, and currently looking at overseas places to live for a bit. I have around $10K passive income. I guess I'll be okay in Hua Hin.
Looking forward to buying Several rounds for you my good friend to be! Can’t tell you how much I love your channel. Fabulous everything that you do is wonderful. Keep it up, mate.
His Hin looks great! Not sure I want to be on a train that doesn’t look to have AC!
That couple reminded me of an SNL skit; or the movie Fargo, “ya hey der!”
Beta male married to the older white woman. Looks like he is the lady in the relationship.
Why bring sand to the beach, I will never understand.
Johnny, what's it like living through the weather? Managable year round?
That’s my favorite place Huahin.
A dead place far from anything economically interesting. It was very concernig to see how bad things were economically compared to other more populated coastal area's in Thailand.
You're ruining Thailand because now more people are gonna want to live there, and prices are gonna up!
we are trying it out in January next year for 3 months
Check out Health Insurance if you are older, and the new tax scheme. I've been looking and it's not as rosy as one may think.
You said your broken foot cost you 7000 baht. Was that with or without insurance? If with, some specifics would be appeciated. Thanks
Any good badminton courts or badminton places to play?
Spain is big money if I sold my house I could not buy in Spain 🇪🇸
If I got my health back I would move there tomorrow why did u not show the price of sprits
Is there a reason why, even on very hot days, there aren't many people swimming in the water at the beaches??
80,000 THB is exactly what my wife and I spent in Hua Hin!!!
Love that comment we came here with his pension like there are 3of them😂
Love ya work. Will catch up on my return.
Jonny. One of your best. Great work. Much appreciated.
I am really not interested in what Forbes say.
If you want hassle and bustles of Bangkok, it only takes three and half hours by car/train from Hiahin. Beaches and mountains are near by Huahin. If you don't like innundating Westerners, you can go to Pranburi, Prachuap Khiri Kan, Petchaburi for more rural Thai living. It's always helpful to speak some Thai. This way, you can interact with the locals. Life in Hiahin is great, if you like swimming, eating, and doing your own things. I know you can do it in other places, too.
Where's Hooaehin…..lol?
How can you afford to live there 9 years if you’re not retired ???
I appreciate you for sharing your experience with people who are retired and living in Hua Hin Thailand.
Almost 60 waterpark much more appealing to me then golf
We bought land in Cha Am, we find Hua Hin too busy with too many farang. We have friends in Hua Hin that we visit & we go to the night market, market village & Blue port, so yes we do like it & I do recommend it to friends who are travelling to Thailand for the first time, but will retire to Cha Am.
New sub, thanks for loads of good info. I'm in the Philippines, been here many years, things overall have been ok but I feel I need another place at least for few months out of each year. HUA HIN definitely comes to mind. I will follow you in the future since Liked what I just saw.
Great video!!
But it so hot there 🥵
I know I could live like a small king with my two pensions in hua hin
I was supposed to come to Thailand last February, now I have to wait until next year 😢
Hello Johnny! Just arrived in Hua Hin. This is my second trip back to Thailand, and on a retirement R&D Visit. I have visited a number of Cities, but Hua Hin in a short time is my favorite city. I will be in Hua Hin for a couple days. If there is an opportunity where you are out and can meet you, buy you a beer, and ask a few condo questions , I would greatly appreciate it.
Would love for you to do an episode on the income taxes there now. They are higher than the US, it seems…which means – I think – that we are going to be paying more in income tax. And even more if there is no personal exemption like there is in the US (couldn't find anything on that). Important topic for retirees on a fixed income.
expats are going to ruin it…watch.
No thanks, I prefer sunset.
Excellent cost breakdown for retiring in Hua Hin. Thank you so much!
Jonny left you a message below, would appreciate your reply, also how does the Visa stand if I want to live in Hua Hin – I have heard very technical
HH is cheap, but it's not a beautiful place IMHO.
What was the agency this couple used for their retirement visa???
it's not hu-a hin ffs
