Founded c. 1350, Ayutthaya became the second Siamese capital after Sukhothai. It was destroyed by the Burmese in the 18th century. Its remains, characterized by the prang (reliquary towers) and gigantic monasteries, give an idea of its past splendour.

Being a semi expert on this City and it’s history, almost every single date in this video are hundreds of years off corresponding with the construction of temples or the reign of kings, other than that it is a unique presentation of description of the essence of the city
