You are the goat! Thank you so much. I need all of this info
Holding up the ATM and lines just to educate us ….. big ups. But if you do this in my presence it is on sight!!
I have transferwise but how can I use it if I am in Thailand and don't have a thai bank account?
When you get a mobile sim card do you need to get a new phone? I have a iphone with AT&T. Do i need to cancel or put my phone plan on hold?
Very helpful video, thank you Chris🤜🤛
Well done, thanks!
First of all, cash in only few hundred baht, just enough to last you, until you get into the city where you can find money changers that give a lot better exchange, and won't cost you as much as it would doing it his way.. second of all. Do not use taxi use the MRT, the taxi will try to scam you, the meter charges faster when they choose to, and his wrong when they say highway , say no, why pay for the toll when you do not need to, plus they will add extra to scam you again
Super informative buddy and ‘right up to date’ with logistical help – navigating your way around. Your a great orator, super clear English with your natural ‘twang’. You seem to be enjoying a great lifestyle so best wishes from Scotland for that future. 👌🥃
Sim card at the airport is insanely expensive. I was paying 300 bahts with True for 1 month unlimited 4G whereas in this video it is the same price for… 8 days !
Chris I'm coming very soon!
Top vid !!
But of street sausage 😂
I’d go with an eSIM app so much easier
I must have watched this video 20 times over before my trip. Easily the best and most informative video out there. It made my first trip to Thailand way less stressful.
Buying a Simcard at 7/11 is way cheaper 😉
Extremely helpful info!! Thank you so much!
First off this video was very easy to follow. I love how he got right into it. But health insurance is not required if you’re visiting Thailand, it’s only required if you plan on retiring/ living in Thailand. A lot of times health insurance gets lost in translation, meaning people think you need health insurance just because you go to Thailand. You have a 60 day visa free entry from America once you’re there you can apply for another 30 days for a total of 90 day stay. No health insurance required for that length of time. I agree with some of the other viewers in regards to this video. The Thai government should be responsible for putting out good quality videos like this. So thank you my friend for producing a great video for the individuals like myself interested in traveling to Bangkok.
Kudos! You are a lifesaver for first timers to thailand!
You own teenee. Slided that in smoothly 😅
Thanks ❤ very helpful info
You are always welcomed to Thailand man
Watching you enjoying 7-11 toasties makes me want to give that another try with a new perspective
Nice video, very helpful 👍
Does the cell phone data work with an E-sim only iphone?
I've read to just get the sim card at the 7-11 and that you will save a lot compared to the airport?
11:00 "that'll get me a little street sausage" 😆🤮
Thanks mate
The ATM machines charge me $45 every transaction. That's the BofA charge alone. So max out your withdrawal!
